Madison County Historical Society Memorial Walkway
Purchase a brick to honor/remember your loved ones

The memorial walkway project began when the society received a contribution from Visiting Nurses of Utica as a memorial donation in honor of their employee Sybil Wilson. Sybil was a dear friend of the Madison County Historical Society serving as treasurer on the Historical Society’s board from March 1994 -May 2007. Sybil’s commitment and passion for the organization will forever be remembered in the memorial walkway.
Additional funding for the memorial walkway came from memorial contributions honoring the Historical Society’s two dearest friends, Jack Meakin and Ann Kittsley. Jack Meakin was a friend of the society, an avid volunteer, and served as a trustee on the board from March 1996 to October 2008. Ann Kittsley was a longtime member of the society, friend, and avid volunteer. Remembrance bricks honoring Sybil Wilson, Ann Kittsley, and Jack Meakin are set in place in the walkway.
